The transition from 3480/3490 tape format to DLT, LTO, CD-ROM, 4mm and 8mm has rendered many 3480 tape storage systems obsolete, necessitating the purchase of new media tape racking for DLT, LTO, CD-ROM, 4mm or 8mm tape storage. By introducing a range of media tape storage pacs for these media types it's possible to keep value in existing or new Maximiser, Quad or Mobile Storagesystems.

Keep The Rack - Change The Pac

3480 Auto-Pac (3480-22A)

  • Designed for the Maximiser tape rack and Quad Rac EDP's top selling 3480/3490 media tape storage module.
  • Features a spring retrieval system. To release a tape cartridge you simply tap the top of the tape cartridge and the spring system ejects the tape cartridge into your hand.
  • The stored tape cartridges are fully protected and locked in place when in the stored position.
  • The Delrin® spring carries a lifetime warranty.
  • Stores 20 3480 / 3590 tape cartridges.

DLT-Auto 16 Pac (3480-DLT-16 / 3480-DLT-16R)

  • Retrofits into all existing EDP Auto Pac-Type single and double-sided Maximiser tape storage racks, Quad Racs, shuttles and carousels.
  • A 16 capacity DLT / LTO tape storage pac with the same dimensions as the Auto II 3480 Twenty pac.
  • Restores value to existing assets.
  • Opens up new possibilities for DLT / LTO tape storage in existing library styles.
  • Features a unique tape cartridge retention strip to prevent cartridge spillage in mobile racking.

CD-Auto 36 Pac (3480-CD-36)

  • A 36 capacity CD storage pack with the same dimensions as the Auto II 3480 Twenty pack.
  • Retrofits into all existing EDP Auto Pac-type single and double sided Maximiser media racks, shuttles and carousels. The CD-Auto 36 pac will only fit in the sliders of the Quad Rac.
  • In-built rentention system.
  • Bottom slot stores one double CD case or two individual cases.
  • Opens up new possibilities for CD storage in existing library styles, so restoring value to existing asserts.

8mm Auto-24 Pac (3480-8M-24)

  • A 24 capacity tape storage pac for 8mm media tapes.
  • Retrofits into all existing EDP Auto Pac-Type single and double-sided Maximiser tape racks, Quad Racs, shuttles and carousels.
  • Retaining strip holds tapes securely in place.
  • Pac designed for 8mm tapes, but converts to 4mm by adding plastic inserts.

4mm Auto-24 Pac (3480-4M-24)

  • A 24 capacity tape storage pac for storing 4mm media tapes.
  • Retrofits into all existing EDP Auto Pac-Type single and double-sided Maximiser racks, Quad Racs, shuttles and carousels.
  • Retaining strip holds tapes securely in place.
  • Pac designed for 4mm tapes, but converts to 8mm by removing plastic inserts.
